If you could change one thing about our blog, what would it be?
No, you can’t get rid of me or Harry. I’m talking about changing the look, the design of our blog. It’s time for Web Content Writer Tips to move up in the world – and time for you to toss in your two cents. Tell us what you think, no holds barred…
…about our blog design, that is
We’ve redesigned our blog a few times in the past eight months or so (yes, we’ve been blogging that long). We like to think our blog as getting bigger each day – it’s outgrowing its clothing faster than my toddler.
It’s time for another look that fits us better – and this one should be the last. We’re doing a major overhaul – the domain name is changing (less typing, yay!), the look is changing, the layout is changing, and the functionality is changing.
We’re going pro, folks.
Since this blog wouldn’t be anything without you – our readers – we want your opinion.
If this blog was yours and you could change one thing – only one thing – what would you choose? Tell us. It could be that you hate the colors we have, or it could be the look of the font. Perhaps you don’t like three-columns, the distracting sidebars, or the Amazon book recommendations. Maybe you want to see more red or more images. Maybe you like snippets or want better navigation.
Tell us. We’re listening.

Every time I follow a link from one of your comments, it lands me smack dab in the middle of “oops…this page is missing.”
Which comments?
When I click on James’ name when he comments on my blog, it takes me here: http://www.jcme.ca/jcmefreelancwriting
Hmmm…can you spot the spelling error? We’re gonna have to have a talk with that boy. He left the “e” out of freelance. *hands Courtney a wet noodle* If you wait right there, you can pounce on him before he’s had a chance to reach the coffee pot.
I just saw it. I do the same thing all the time with “writing.” I leave out the “i”.
Uh oh….you better not put that noodle in my hands! I just might like the power too much.
AUUGHH!!!
We are so changing our domain name, Bro.
Guess what else? Two weeks ago, I ran around the ‘net commenting everywhere and leaving my site URL as http://www.jcme.ca/freelancewriting (where’s the second jcme?) I couldn’t figure out why our landing page was getting so many hits.
Now I run around misspelling “freelance?” Damn, don’t that make me look like one hot copywriter.
In my defense, I have automatic fill-in enabled in my web browser. It’s not my fault I have three misspelled versions to choose from!
