When building a website, keeping clutter to a minimum and the navigation simple is an absolute must. For businesses trying to sell goods and services, keep it simple and don’t go shoving ads left right and centre across the whole site. Your customer’s know what they want and in most cases a lot of ads may put them off as it can look unprofessional.

Clutter has a lot to do with focus. No focus translates into more clutter. I have this problem right now with my blog in terms of what widgets to add (or not add), etc. Timely post for me to sort that out.
