Colliding Fiction with Technology at Seekerville

Women surround me, and they’re asking me if they look good in their jeans.

Trick question?

Discover why I’m a sudden rockstar over at Seekerville and enjoy the high levels of wit and humor. Need a laugh? You’ll find it right here in the comment section following my guest post, Blogging with Harry: More than Words – Fiction Writing Meets Technology.

Yes, that’s right. I’ve taken on the fiction writing crowd head to head, and I’m out to tell them how blogging can help them reach their goals in my latest two-part series guest post.

It’s a pleasure to have some testosterone in Seekerville, and incidently your post is very good too!

  2. Thanks, Tina, good to see you over here too!

I’m in perfect agreement with Tina.

Seekerville is clouded with estrogen on any given day, and we get snarky.

    Meeeeeeeow…………..!!!

So it’s nice to have the boys stop in, twit us a bit, explain those big, old technical words to us and tell us we look just as young as ever.

Harry, great to have you visiting. Umm… Next time? Wipe your feet at the door, ‘kay?

    Ruthy

  4. @Ruthy: *glances down at his dust-covered boots* Sorry. Hey, you like cats? I’ve got two and we’ve got a blog about it (click here for shameless plug of new blog).

You have a cat blog? Clicking now.

We have two cats here also.

    Harry,

    Wowee.

I read every comment over there, and realized there was way too much estrogen… I couldn’t breathe so I had to come back here to comment. Good post. I am afraid that two things were obvious… one, there are more rabid commenters than yours in the universe, hiding under the bloggy radar, and two, that you are a chick magnet. LOL at how many honeys were draped all over you. Y’all think you have flirtations here!

Did not know you were a New Yawker before, interesting. City boy or elsewhere? Why the abrupt switch?

James Chartrand gets smacked down, gets back up, and gets slightly stunned again… dizzying story of the fight with 3,200 women and one very determined dude at 11. :)

Is it like that every day over there?

    Regards,

    Kelly

  8. @Kelly: Hoo-yeah, it was as much of an experience as the knitting blog had been. All very good though. I was very surprised at the response from the community there and they did put my stamina to the test for sure.

What can I say? It’s the McLeod charm at it’s finest.

Yup, I’m a native NY’er born and raised. Just a boy from the ‘burbs. Wouldn’t go near the city even if you paid me. Wait, that’s not entirely true, I did get paid to go work in the city a couple of times and hated it.

If you must know, I left for the desert after me and the ex split. I had nothing keeping me there. I’m glad it happened that way, or else I probably wouldn’t be here writing this right now.

    Harry,

I’ve been all over—eight years is probably the most I’ve ever stayed in one place in my whole life (too tired to do the math perfectly), most places less time than that. Never close enough to get bored with the city, but I wouldn’t want to live there.

Fate’s a funny thing, but LVNV is a BIG switch!

All of my long list have been further North until this stop. I miss the cold down here in the rather South. You get to go visit Mr. Chartrand now and then, which probably scratches that itch pretty well. I mainly visit up-up-upstate NY (my transplanted parents) in the dead of summer, which is a relief from this bog but doesn’t allow for much igloo-building. *sigh*

I can hardly wait to read tomorrow’s guest post, but I think I may have to bring an oxygen mask this time. What a fabulously involved gaggle of ladies!

    Until later,

    Kelly
