How soon can we start?

We usually request a 7-day lead-time from the day we receive your deposit, and that lets us wrap up current projects to give yours the full attention it deserves.

How long does it take to get a new site design or new copy?

Once we begin working, we typically turn projects around within 10 to 14 days—and sometimes less. We know it’s taken you some time to find the best people to work on your project – we don’t want you to have to wait any longer than necessary to put our web copy or design to work for you!

What’s the process of working with Men With Pens like?

We’re glad you asked. We take you from “I’m ready” to “I love it!” in just three easy steps:

1. Once you decide to work with us and click on one of our nifty buttons, you’ll fill out a simple questionnaire. It’s very easy – just some questions on what your customers need to hear in your copy, or what you’d like them to see on your site.
2. When you complete and submit your questionnaire, you’ll be redirected to PayPal, where you can conveniently and quickly reserve your place in our schedule with a 50% deposit. No one else will be able to grab that spot!
3. We work our magic. Your entire project takes about 10 to 14 days to complete, and we deliver exactly on schedule. From there, you can put your new awesome copy or design right to work and start doing business!

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept credit card payments and payments made via PayPal. A 50% deposit reserves your place in our schedule, and the remaining balance is due before we deliver.

What if I want some changes made? Do you offer revisions?

We want to make sure you get exactly what you want, so we offer one major revision (if necessary – it isn’t often we need to crack this baby out), a round of minor revisions and alterations at each approval stage, and revised proofs after alterations.

Following delivery, we offer a complimentary two-week revision period that lets you relax and take your time to review your copy or play with your site. We want you to be completely satisfied with your finished project.

Do I need to pick a theme for my new site or will you recommend one?

We’re happy to work with a theme of your choosing, if you have one in mind. If you don’t, let us take care of that. We’ve tried and tested hundreds of themes throughout the years, and we know exactly which one will fit your business needs perfectly.

I know you guys are WordPress specialists, but I want to use Thesis/Headway/Frugal. Can you work with that theme?

Indeed we can. As coding specialists of these three themes, we can make them do whatever we want to get the perfect look and layout your site needs. And, it’s our pleasure to use the theme of your choice as the framework for your new site.

I’m happy with the theme I have, and I just want to rebrand the design. How does that work?

You can keep the theme you have, and we’ll give it a fresh new look that draws visitors’ eyes your way. Just go ahead and pick one of our Solutions. For the same affordable price, we’ll give your theme a new look, color scheme, and other design elements that come with your choice of package.

I have web copy on my site now, but something’s not working. I’m not getting the results I want. Can you take a look at it?

Absolutely, yes. Our drive-by shooting critiques for web design were so popular we decided to offer a web copy version to our readers and clients who feel concerned that their copy isn’t quite up to snuff.
