@James: For the toddler, try a ukulele. Its cheap, easier to play, and keeps them off your guitar a little. As a bonus you can play wicked dissonant duos together

@Harry: An Ovation kind of guy? Does that mean you have concave thighs? Seriously, I like the sound of Ovations I’ve heard, but I can never get that bowl shape to stay on my lap while I play.

@ Gary – I have a friend who is a major, major player and has about 14 guitars, the sum total value of which would buy my duplex about three times over, and every single time he picks up my Yam, he sighs. Very sweet sound.

As for fingerprints… I have a toddler. My guitar ain’t the shiniest thing on the block some days

Mine is a beautiful (and affordable!) Yamaha FG720S and it looks identical to this one:
