Currently Seeking: Copywriter

We’re currently seeking a copywriter able to produce persuasive, influential and compelling content for websites and blogs, ebook content, advertising material and sales copy. Candidates must be able to analyze specifications and requirements to write copy that reflects the clients’ branded tone and style and that achieves their desires and goals.

General tasks and duties include:

  • Conceptualize and create web copy, ad copy, sales copy and ebook content using tone and style matching client brands
  • Apply sales and marketing strategies as well as persuasive strategies within the copy to ultimately influence, convince and compel end users
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal team

Requirements:

  • High-level copywriting, English grammar and editing skills
  • High-level knowledge of sales and marketing, business branding and consumer behaviour
  • 3 to 5 years experience in copywriting
  • Advertising experience considered an asset
  • The ability to work independently, manage own schedule and self-supervise
  • The ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Dedication to business performance and client results
  • A professional, responsible attitude
  • Meticulous attention to detail and proofing
  • The ability to write in several different tones and styles as required
  • Innovative, creative and detail-minded
  • Strong written communication skills (email, IM)
  • Calm, flexible and able to work under pressure or with short deadlines
