Writing Keyword Articles

Most internet-savvy businesspersons know that keyword articles generate traffic to websites. Keyword articles, also called SEO articles, provide copy or content that is search engine optimized. Here are some tips to writing keyword articles:

A good keyword article should provide information, tips, or advice and should be easy for the reader to understand. Overusing keywords in articles doesn’t look natural. Not only that, using keywords too often makes the article difficult to read.

Choosing common keywords results in the article getting lost amongst all the other content available on the internet. Being specific with keywords is best and optimizes search engine results.

An article that uses search-specific keywords in its title and again in the first line sentence of the copy will stand a better chance of being noticed.

Sprinkling keywords about optimizes an article without having the copy appear ridiculous. Using a keyword in each paragraph is one method. Writing in keywords twice in the introduction, twice in the conclusion, and once in every other paragraph is another.

Keyword articles, while being optimized for search engines, should provide relevant information to readers to generate interest in a website, product, or service. Knowing the balance between using keywords and writing effective, quality copy is important.

A keyword-studded article with poor content, sloppy writing, or a lack of pertinent information in the content won’t reflect a professional image that attracts business. The reader will be turned away and take their business elsewhere.
